Police make arrests in graffiti spree

The Logan and North Park Police Departments have been investigating numerous incidents of graffiti that occurred through multiple cities in the Cache Valley area over the past week. As a result of that investigation and review with the Cache County Attorney’s Office, three adult males and one male juvenile have been arrested and placed into custody.

The suspects are identified as:

18 year old Mathew Jensen of Smithfield

18 year old Dustin Kirby of Logan

18 year old Andy Chanthalsay of North Logan

And a 15 year old male from North Logan

All the defendants face numerous criminal charges, including felony and misdemeanor counts. These charges include Criminal Mischief, Criminal Trespass, and Possession of Graffiti tools. Further details on these charges will be available during the workday hours on 06/14/2012.

The adults were booked into the Cache County Jail and the minor was booked into the juvenile detention center. The investigation is still ongoing as attempts are made to identify the numerous victims for appropriate restitution.
