Due to extremely dry conditions and no rain forecasted for at least a week, state fire officials have set restrictions throughout Utah.  According to a statement from Cache County Fire Marshal Jason Winn, all unincorporated, private lands in Cache County are under these fire restrictions beginning immediately.  The restrictions include setting, building, maintaining, attending or using open fires of any kind, except campfires built within the facilities provided for them at improved campgrounds or picnic areas.  Other restrictions include smoking, except within an enclosed vehicle or building, or developed recreation site; no fireworks of any kind; and any agriculture burning requires a written permit from the Cache County Fire District.  Fire Marshal Winn says the fire restrictions will be in place until the fire hazard subsides.
